Having come from a three boy family ( four if you count my dad ) that was a matriarched by a wonderful mother who's profession ( other than raising us ) was that of chief food editor and test chef for a subsidiary of the Los Angeles Times, I spent a serious amount of time in the kitchen and learned early that it is in fact the most important room in a home. Now, a Fortyish grown up myself, I recently carried this knowledge into my new eighteen year-old house and decided that the kitchen was going to have to go...all of it, except for the floor which was a beautiful Mexican Tile. There would be several demanding changes: running a new gas line to an island with a professional 48 inch cook-top, filling in empty spaces with concrete, obtaining specially crafted deep corian sink and counters, large hood requirements and new incorporated designs to accommodate everything that I need. Interviews with major kitchen companies were forthcoming. Within ten minutes of walking into Designer Baths and Kitchens, the third company that I visited, I knew that they would be the one to get the job... and my choice was right.

The staff designer solved the real difficult re-design problem beautifully; the cabinet choice, style and color were prefect, the cantilever corian countertop and intricate gas line plumbing job were remarkable, and best of all... the service and follow-up service, courtesy, and attention to detail gave me the confidence to know that Designer Baths and Kitchens was the best choice by far. My kitchen is the most beautiful and efficient working kitchen that I have seen.
